As an Online Business Manager (OBM), I take action to reach my client’s goals. Clients bring their vision, and I execute the steps to turn that big vision into reality.
Under this role, my responsibilities include Project Management, Team Management, Operations Management, and Strategic Planning Support for online and physical businesses.
1) Project Management – As Project Manager, I ensure that all the details and pieces of a project come together from start to finish.
2) Team Management – In my role as Team Manager, I’m involved in hiring and onboarding, training new team members, and off-boarding. I understand how a company’s team operates while creating cohesion for sustainability and growth.
3) Operations Management – As an Operations Manager, I supervise other team members and work directly with other business partners such as Web Designers, Accountants, additional Virtual Assistants, etc. I delegate tasks and ensure that they are completed well and on time. I’m the middle person and, at times, a mediator if needed.
4) Strategic Planning Support – If you’re launching a new product or service, or your business is going through a big transition, I can help you strategize to go high level with your business. Are you using the systems and programs that your business needs? Do you have the right people in the right job? I can help you answer questions and brainstorm while acting as a sounding board to position yourself well in your industry.
As a Virtual Assistant, my support is more task-oriented, and I’m responsible for specific jobs that require instructions.
Under this role, my responsibilities include routine tasks such as social media scheduling, calendar management, bill payment, etc., and other jobs such as research work, newsletters, website updates, and more.
