When looking for a PM tool, test it first. Pick the ones with a free account or that offer a free trial. You can start by comparing three. If you don’t know where to start, here’s a list of some of the PM software I’ve used:
When testing, pay attention to how user-friendly and visually attractive the software is. It has to look easy to navigate to you.
Then think about what projects will go in this software. Can your processes and tasks easily be managed here?
What is the size of your company? Can members of your team easily collaborate? A good PM tool will have good time-tracking and easy-to-create reporting features.
Once you determine the features that you need, start comparing prices.
Remember, you don’t need a sophisticated project management system. What you need is something that works for you and your team.
